saya kurang berkenan ...

Salam hormat semua. Saya ingin berkongsi sedikit rasa kurang berkenan saya terhadap beberapa perkara yang berlaku kebelakangan ini. Saya berharap saya tidak akan melakukan perkara yang sama. Yang pertama ialah masa yang terbuang untuk perkara-perkara menjatuhkan orang lain. Alangkah ruginya kalau saya asyik memikirkan bagaimana untuk menjatuhkan orang lain daripada memikirkan hal ehwal diri saya dan keluarga saya sendiri. Ada satu perkara yang terjadi baru-baru ini yang mana saya melihat orang-orang itu boleh pula mempunyai masa mencari kesalahan orang-orang lain. Sanggup pula mengkaji sejauh mana kesalahan orang-orang lain. Oh! Malunya saya dan rasa sungguh terkejut kerana orang-orang itu mempunyai masa untuk perkara sedemikian. Yang kedua ialah jangan ungkit perkara yang telah lalu, atau jangan ungkit kesilapan orang yang lepas. Apa yang sudah terjadi tidak akan bertukar menjadi lain kerana dunia ini tidak boleh berputar semula. Dan mungkin juga mereka yang membuat silap itu telah insaf dan telah berubah. Dan mungkin mereka telah berubah menjadi yang lebih baik daripada diri kita. Apakah tujuannya kita mengungkit-ungkit? Berdasarkan dua perkara ini, saya merasa sangat kecil dan insaf. Perlu banyak lagi saya memperbaiki diri. Oleh itu, saya hanya akan melihat diri saya, menjaga diri saya, menjaga hati saya dan jangan sibuk hal orang lain ...

I like my board ...

I really like my board this semester because it is so colourful. This actually reflects all the things that I have to do this semester; in terms of teaching and consultancy. I am sure different people have different kinds of boards, colours and commitment. Whatever it is, we have to be passionate about our work and life.

march comes again ...

It is already in the third month of the year (Western calender) and I guess, everybody does not really realise this. Or sometimes, we know it but we are too busy to stop and think of what we have been doing thus far. Okay, I just want to share two pictures of a friend and his wife. They got married in the first week of March.

I arrived around 7.45 p.m. at the hotel but I was so full that I skipped dinner altogether. This was because earlier before departure, I ate at the lounge and on the plane, pies and cakes were served so ...

'meroyan'?

Next in my vocabulary enhancement class is the word 'meroyan.' In Bahasa Melayu, 'meroyan' is referring to women who were emotionally and mentally disturbed after giving birth. This happens for various reasons, one of them the environment that does not support these women. As new mothers, they lack experience and taking care of babies may be a challenging task. Okay, that's the story of this. But I use this 'meroyan' word differently. I use 'meroyan' when referring to someone who without any reasons throws tantrum or suddenly gets mad because of simple issues. Emmm ... for example, "Kenapa dia meroyan tak tentu pasal tu?" (literally translated into Why is s/he so mad (meroyan)?

ouccchh 'kangkung' ...

Do you know the meaning or connotation of the word 'kangkung'? Actually, different people have different schema about this word. Originally, it is used to refer to one type of vegetable, a green one. Used in many types of Malay dishes too. But today, the use of this word is diversified. For one, we call those who should not get some kind of awards, but still they get them as 'kangkung' tooooott ... I see a lot of these 'kangkung' toooottt today, around me. Emmm ... that's why I keep rambling about something is not right here in my atmosphere ...

silence is golden ...

Have been very quiet lately. I don't feel like doing or saying anything actually. I just prefer to observe, reflect and act. Maybe it is because of the age. One thing for sure, I appreciate life more than ever! As Forrest Gump once said "Life is a box of chocolate." How true, true and very true ...
